Tournament Operations Associate
Are you passionate about esports and eager to help build global esports tournaments, both online and live?
Do you enjoy building strong relationships with teams, talent, and partners to keep tournaments conflict-free?

You will play a key role in producing world-class execution of tournament operations within GRID's Tournament Services department, focusing on seamless delivery, cost control, and adherence to operational standards. Your role will be deeply involved in maintaining predictable and dependable delivery of esports tournament productions, and supporting the development of new tournament properties.
Job requirements
What you will do
Own the day-to-day execution of assigned tasks in tournament operations, covering invites, scheduling, and admin workflows, interfacing with partners and internal teams where applicable
Communicate clearly and professionally with teams, talent, and partners, resolving conflicts quickly
Manage scheduling to avoid conflicts, aligning with tournament timelines, team availability, and production requirements
Enforce rulebooks and formats consistently, ensuring compliance and clarity across all participants
Support internal and external tournament operations stakeholders to ensure effective and professional tournament operations
Create and maintain documentation (invites, brackets, Discord channels, etc.) that is complete and organised
Maintain strong relationships with professional teams and external partners (e.g. HLTV, broadcast partners)
Support the tournament operations team in administrative functions, such as legal team agreements and prize money invoicing
Report on tournament delivery metrics, flagging risks, and supporting resolution of operational issues
Your skills will include
Strong understanding of the esports ecosystem and tournament operations
Proven experience in managing logistical and operational tasks for live or online events
Ability to stay calm and effective under pressure, ensuring delivery in high-stakes environments
Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
Proficiency with tournament tools, scheduling, and relevant software (e.g. Google Drive, Discord)
Familiarity with broadcast production workflows and content delivery is a plus
A team-first mindset with the ability to build positive relationships internally and externally
High-level English written and verbal proficiency, additional languages are a plus, incl. Russian, Ukrainian, Portuguese, Spanish
