About GRID esports:

At GRID esports we are building a data-ecosystem specifically designed for the esports industry. The GRID platform is designed to enable games publishers, teams and leagues to leverage official data assets through both B2B and fan-facing channels. We do this through the use of a specialized technological approach to build real-time esports data processing systems.

As a key member of the wider Commercial Department at GRID, you will play a vital role in acquiring new customers and ensuring we achieve maximum possible value from existing ones. As the global leader in our industry, you will be at the forefront of business development in the esports betting space. You will be equipped to succeed in building and maintaining your own network and pipeline and have the full might of GRID’s commercial team behind you.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Maximise the value we get from our product range and clients

  • Manage existing customers to cross and up-sell them on GRID’s products

  • Seek out new business opportunities for GRID across the world of esports, leveraging both endemic and non-endemic brands and clients

  • Represent GRID at events or conferences and be willing to travel accordingly

  • Aid and assist the VP of Business Development and VP of Partnerships on progressing key partnerships or closing key deals

Job requirements

  • Solid commercial acumen, with at least a year's experience working in a business environment

  • Confident and composed social skills, a people person even in unfamiliar environments or cultures

  • Excellent knowledge of the regulated sports-betting industry

  • A deep understanding of measuring and influencing customer behavior in betting

  • Experience in sales or business development, preferably in a B2B context

  • Experience in a sports trading environment would be beneficial 

  • A passion for esports is a plus

  • Knowledgeable of esports and esports betting industries would be beneficial, but not mandatory
